Our Team:

Julie Furby, RN, is a senior Legal Nurse Consultant with over 36 years of nursing experience across high-acuity hospital, post-acute, and long-term care settings. Her clinical background includes extensive work in Level I trauma centers nationwide, as well as progressive care units, intensive care units, cardiology, and specialty medical-surgical environments.

Our Approach:

To provide expert nurse consulting services that deliver clear, ethical, and evidence-based guidance to healthcare organizations, legal teams, insurers, and professionals—supporting informed decision-making, risk mitigation, and improved outcomes.

Experience:

36 years total nursing experience
7 years travel nursing in hospitals and Level I trauma centers across the U.S.
- 20 years staff nurse experience in:
- Progressive Care
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- ICU Step-Down Units
- Cardiology
3 years post-acute experience in:
- Home Health Care
- Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care Facilities
Experience across medical and surgical care settings
Adult and pediatric patient populations
EMR experience: Epic. Cerner, Meditech, McKesson, Sorian
